William Muir (Lambourn)
Having been born at Fawley Stud, William has spent his entire life with horses. Now entering his 16th year of training, with over 250 winners. These include Group success with AVERTI (IRE), who won the King George Stakes (Group 3) at Goodwood and MATERIAL WITNESS (IRE), who won the Bunbury Cup. William trains at Linkslade Stables at Lambourn, with its 72 boxes and invaluable indoor school is situated with easy access to the gallops. It is a friendly dual purpose family orientated yard, and we look forward to our first season with William as trainer for the Essex Racing Club. |

Stuart Williams (Newmarket) Stuart started training in 1993. His first winner was Greenback at Lingfield on March 5th 1993, and he has since gone on to train winners at all the flat racecourses in Britain, a goal achieved in July 2003 when Magic Mistress won at Ascot. In 2004 he equalled his best year when he trained 32 winners and also moved to the excellent Diomed Stables. |

Henri - Alex Pantall (France) Alex Pantall is one of France's top trainers, operating from the superb private facility at Beaupreau, south-east of Nantes, and in 2006 was 6th in the French trainers' list with 106 winners and prize money won of over €1.6million. His successes have been all over the world, especially with his much-travelled Group 1 performer TOUCH OF LAND. |

Sabine Losch (France) German-born Sabine is a dual-purpose trainer based at the racecourse training centre at La Teste de Buch near Bordeaux and has held a trainer's licence for ten years, having previously worked for Andre Fabre at Chantilly. She has been successful with both Flat and Hurdlers at the many racecourses in the South-West of France over the past four years.Multi-lingual, Sabine is a good communicator with owners and has excellent facilities. |

John Long (Surrey) Based at Woldingham in Surrey, John has some excellent private training gallops which are set in the Surrey Hills only 15 minutes from Lingfield Park Racecourse. John is a trainer who offers a friendly, personal service to his clients, and is in regular contact with the Club Manager on all matters affecting the club’s horses. He has also had successes with other horses purchased by Barry Root for some of his private clients. Furthermore he is well placed to send horses to race at Great Leighs in Essex when Britain’s newest racecourse opens its’ doors in later in 2007. |
